Welcome to Basilico Nero. These terms govern online orders, pre-order pickups, payments, and our food trailer services in Eijsden. Please review them before placing your order.

Terms & Conditions

1. Bookings & Confirmation

Quotes provided by Basilico Nero are non-binding until accepted by the client.
A booking is officially confirmed only upon receipt of the agreed deposit.

2. Payment Terms

The full remaining balance must be paid at least 72 hours prior to the event date.
If full payment is not received 72 hours before the event, Basilico Nero reserves the right to cancel the service, and the deposit will be forfeited.

3. Location & Setup Requirements

The client must provide:

A suitable, flat, and accessible space of at least 5m x 3m for our mobile food trailer and setup.
Access to a standard 230V power supply (Schuko outlet).
Venue access 2 hours prior to service start time for setup and oven heating.

4. Cancellation Policy

Deposit: The initial deposit is strictly non-refundable upon booking confirmation to cover date reservation and administrative costs.
Cancellation within 72 hours: If the client cancels less than 72 hours before the event date, 100% of the total event invoice remains due and payable, as ingredients and preparation are already committed.

5. Guest Count Adjustment

Minor adjustments to the guest count (maximum decrease of 10%) can be communicated up to 14 days prior to the event.
Increases to the guest count can be accepted up to 7 days prior to the event, subject to availability.
The final invoice will be based on the confirmed count, but will never be lower than 90% of the originally booked guest count.

6. Parking & Permits

Any parking fees, entry fees, or local permits required for the food trailer at the event venue are the responsibility of the client.

7. Weather & Force Majeure

In cases of severe weather (e.g., extreme wind/storms) or technical force majeure, Basilico Nero will work with the client to reschedule the event if possible, subject to our availability. Existing bookings for other dates cannot be altered or replaced.

8. Food Safety & Liability

Food consumption and allergen risks are governed by our Allergen Information page. Clients must inform their guests regarding dietary restrictions.

9. Minimum Spend & Travel Fees

Minimum Event Spend: Every booking requires a minimum total spend of €1,100 per event.
Travel Fee: Travel costs are calculated at €1.00 per kilometer (round trip) starting from our headquarters in Gronsveld.

10. Service Duration & Pizza Allocation

Service Duration: Live buffet service lasts for a maximum of 2.5 hours from the first pizza served. Service time cannot be extended on-site.
Food Quantity: Packages include an average allocation of 1 full pizza per person. If demand exceeds expectations during the 2.5-hour window, Basilico Nero will prepare up to a maximum 10% extra buffer over the total confirmed guest count, after which service concludes.

11. Dietary & Celiac Disclaimer

Due to the limited space in our mobile unit and airborne flour dust, we cannot guarantee a 100% gluten-free environment. Our products are not suitable for individuals with Celiac disease.

12. Waste Management

Basilico Nero will clean and dispose of all operational waste from the kitchen trailer. Disposing of plates, napkins, and cutlery used by guests in the venue area remains the responsibility of the client.

13. Client-Caused Delays

The 2.5-hour service window starts at the agreed scheduled time. Delays caused by the client or guests will not extend the total service duration.

14. Power Supply & Outages

The client must provide a fully functional 230V power connection. Basilico Nero is not liable for service disruptions caused by local power failures or faulty venue wiring.

15. Damage to Equipment

The client is financially liable for any damage to our trailer, oven, or equipment caused by event guests.

16. Applicable Law
